Internship Programs
The internship program is considered a course and is included in the YISS tuition fee, requiring no additional payment.
However, students must complete their tuition payment by March 20th, 16:00 KST to validate their application.
Corporate Internship Program
The program offers YISS students direct exposure to global corporate settings in the heart of Seoul, Korea. Taking advantage of Yonsei University’s vast alumni networks and strong ties with business and educational partners, the program provides students with the opportunity to gain professional work experience and to build social networks in some of the world’s leading companies and organizations. Do not miss this opportunity to advance your career during this summer.

Program Period : Jun 16, 2025 ~ Aug 5, 2025 (7.5 weeks)
The internship program operates on a different schedule from the YISS period. Students participating in the internship program must arrange their own accommodation. Even if assigned a dormitory, they should secure housing for the extra period beyond the designated dormitory stay.
- Qualifications : YISS participants enrolled in an accredited foreign university as well as enrolled in at least 2 courses (mininum 5 credit). * High school seniors who have been accepted to university and Yonsei students are not eligible to apply.
- There will be no refund for students who have accepted to the YSIP and have been working at the company/laboratories that they have accepted.

Internship applicants need to complete their enrollment by making full tuition fee payment by March 20th 16:00 KST.

Applications with outstanding tuition balance will not be considered.
The Placement Schedule might be subject to be delayed on the situation.
There might be an Early Decision depending on the institutions payments.
There can be an additional placement if there is any cancellation.
Some internship insitution could request candidate for Internship Interview.

- The following modules are devised to assist internship applicants in scheduling academic course(s) with internship.
- Internship applicants are required to take at least two courses including the internship course (Internship + 1 academic course).
- There are two options for internship working hours (morning or afternoon), so please refer to the below charts to understand how the YISS course schedule can be arranged for interns.
- Please note that participants have to work from 9AM to 5PM KST on Jun 16, 2025 (Mon).

Interns will work either in the Morning or Afternoon and can choose to take academic coursan e(s) in blue or in green (or both).

- Internship placement is not guaranteed. Final decisions will be made by individual institutions. Please prepare alternative course options to be approved by your home university in case you are not placed in an internship position.
- Some laboratories or centers may have interviews(Online), and in this case, only short-listed candidates will be individually contacted.
- Each applicant can apply for up to 5 internship positions (5 from both Research & Corporation Internship).
- Please take extra caution when selecting internship positions and ask questions before submitting your application if any. When the offer is accepted by the applicant (placement is confirmed), based on the mutual trust and contract, cancellation or change in placement cannot be made. If a placement is changed or canceled, all benefits that were given to the applicant will be withdrawn.
