All summer transcripts are recorded with letter grades. The Yonsei Internship is an exception and is evaluated as pass/non-pass.

Yes, if you are currently in your second semester or beyond at college/university, please submit an official transcript that is signed, stamped, and issued within the last 3 months. We do not accept website screenshots, student copies, expired transcripts, or transcripts in any language other than English.

I submitted and meet the requirements for admission, but I have not received any acceptance notices.
If you have submitted your application and have not heard back from us within 2-3 weeks, then A) your application documents do not meet the application guidelines or B) you have not yet paid the application fee.
Students must submit the correct application documents AND pay the application fee within the given deadline. Please notify the YISS team of any application updates by email.

Unfortunately, no. Only currently enrolled students can apply for YISS .

For 6-week courses, classes meet for two class periods (100 minutes each) daily, four days a week (Monday to Thursday), with Korean Language courses meeting for three class periods each day.
For 4-week courses, classes meet for three class periods (150 minutes each) daily, four days a week (Monday to Thursday).

You make take up to 3 classes (one class minimum).
In case of participating in the Internship program. Minimum course load is 6 credits.

Yes, you can take only online classes offered in the 4 week program.
However, please not that if you take only online classes you won't be able to get the VISA documents and apply for the on-campus housing.
Even if you received the documents, if you change to only online courses, please not that the issued VISA documents will be cancelled and you will lose the VISA effectiveness.

As we sending E-transcript to the university, your institution will be able to receive the soft copy version of your transcript around 2 weeks after the program is over.
Additional copies of transcript can be requested for a fee from the YISS office. Note that it's the student's responsibility to provide a correct e-mail/mail address.

Students from non-partner institutions may apply and do not require nominations unless specified by their home institution.
