[2025 YISS] How to Check Course Registration Details

How to Check your Final Registration Results Once you complete your course registration, you should verify your enrollment to ensure your selected courses have been successfully registered. How to Check your Enrolled Courses: 1. Log in to the Yonsei Portal (http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr) 2. Click the globe icon at the top right of the page for English version. Do not use GoogleTranslate or other automatic translators—they may cause errors! 3. Go to Academic Information System → Course Registration Details (under the "Courses" tab) 4. Make sure the courses listed match your selections. * Tip: The “Class time table check” may not be visible at this time. Check the courseregistration result at the “Course Registration Details” tab or “List of Applied Courses” on thecourse enrollment page to confirm your registration status.

[2024 YISS] Course Withdrawal

Dear Student, Greetings from the YISS Office! We hope you are all doing well, and enjoying summer in Korea! As the 2nd week of the YISS has started, we would like to remind you that the course withdrawal period is approaching. *Course withdrawal periods are determined by "the course length", not the student's program period. To withdraw from any course(s) without it appearing on your transcript, please refer to the details below. (There are YISS TAs on campus wearing a yellow vest. Feel free to ask them if you need assistance with using the Portal!) [PERIOD] (FOR 4-WEEKS COURSES) 09:00 July 9th ~ 17:00 10th, 2024 (Korea Standard Time) [PERIOD] (FOR 6-WEEKS COURSES) 09:00 July 16th ~ 17:00 17th, 2024 (Korea Standard Time) [HOW TO WITHDRAW] - Go to the Yonsei Portal (https://portal.yonsei.ac.kr/) → Select Language: ENG → Log in with your Student ID → Navigate to 'Academic Information System' → 'Academic Information' → 'Courses' → 'Application for withdrawal of courses' → Click 'Withdrawal' button on the course you would like to withdraw from and provide a reason. - After submitting, check the "Withdrawal List" or the "course registration details" menu for confirmation. [IMPORTANT NOTES] - Withdrawals are only allowed during the designated period above. The system will be closed afterward, and cannot be reopened. - Withdrawn course(s) will NOT appear on the transcript but will show a "W" grade on the Yonsei Portal system. - Withdrawn course(s) cannot be refunded due to the YISS refund policy. All refunds were available for requests made before June 27. - Once a course is withdrawn, the action cannot be undone. Please think carefully and be certain before withdrawing.

[2024 YISS] Yonsei Idol 2024. Who wants to be the Idol of YISS?

The registration for the 'Yonsei Idol 2024' is open from June 18th to July 8th, 3 PM KST! We are excited to see fantastic art showcased by our YISS students. [Course Registration Schedule (Korean Standard Time, GMT+9)] Schedule Date and Time Notice 2nd Round Course Registration (For All) June 3rd 10:00 ~ 4th 17:00 * Log-in for course registration is available from June 3rd, 9:00 (onehourinadvance). Course Add & Drop (For All) June 27th 09:00 ~ 28th 17:00 *On the first day of the YISS program This will be the LAST CHANCE to change your course selection. Course Withdrawal (For All) (4-week) July 9th 09:00 ~ 10th 18:00 (6-week) July 16th 09:00 ~ 17th 18:00 *Withdrawal only * Course Registration, Add & Drop: FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS * Korean Language courses should be registered for during the 1st & 2nd round course registration period. The Add & Drop period does not allow students to register for Korean Language Courses. * If you were an early-bird student and had any courses waitlisted during the early-bird course registration in April, you must "delete" your previous waitlist before the course registration starts at 10 AM, to refresh the number of available courses.
