Application Procedures
Eligibility
Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) welcomes applications from students currently studying in or planning to attend a university outside of Korea. To be eligible, university students should have a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Application Materials
One of the following application materials is required on the application form (based on student status).
- Current college/university students: A copy of the official transcript issued within 3 months
- College/university freshmen in 1st semester (without official grade): A copy of the official certificate of enrollment (CoE) issued within 3 months
- High school seniors: A copy of the official letter of admission to an accredited college/university
※ All materials should be officially issued within 3 months with the official institution mark and registrar/admission office’s signature.
※ Unqualified materials such as unofficial transcripts, provisional copies, improper documents will cause delay in application review, which may lead to rejection or even to admission denial.
※ To facilitate the admission process and verify students’ enrollment status, further materials such as certificate of enrollment can be requested.
※ Please note that meeting the minimum GPA requirement does not guarantee admission, as all applications are reviewed by a thorough and comprehensive review process.
