1. COVID-19 PCR Tests
1) All travelers to Korea must
provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours of
their departure and submit to a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon entry,
regardless of vaccination status.
2) All
travellers(including Korean citizens) arriving from overseas will be
tested for COVID-19 during the first 24 hours of quarantine period.
3) Lastly all incoming arrivals will get tested one more time at the end of the mandatory two-week quarantine period.
2. 14-day Mandatory Quarantine
All
travelers to Korea are subject to 14-day mandatory quarantine at their own cost.
The government facility costs around $1,300 to $2,000 USD paid before entering
the facility. The expense includes costs for accommodation, meals, etc.
The
place for quarantine will be assigned upon your arrival.
It’s advised to check the most up to date information frequently
and please contact the Korean embassy in your region for further information.
